UC Leuven-Limburg given maximum score in Dutch-Flemish higher education review

14 September 2017

The quality of education and the enthusiasm of the employees at UC Leuven-Limburg impressed the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) who visited Flemish higher education institutions for a full review between 2015 and 2017.

"We're extremely happy that our university college's quality and our employees' enthusiasm have made such a big impression. A lot of satisfaction also comes from the appreciation shown for our new system of quality care. We're not stopping there; in the meantime, we're constantly improving and building out our university college", Mark Vandewalle, General Director at UC Leuven-Limburg mentions.

Next to the quality and enthusiasm, UC Leuven-Limburg's quality care system, vision, inspirational bachelor profile, internationalisation and transparency were also praised.

The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) was established by the Dutch and Flemish governments as an independent accreditation organisation tasked with providing an expert and objective assessment of the quality of higher education in the Netherlands and Flanders. Their main tasks are to assess and assure the quality of Dutch and Flemish higher education, and promoting a culture of quality in higher education.
