STATIK convincingly elected 'MIK Climate Ambassador 2019'
During the New Year's reception of Voka - Chamber of Commerce Flemish Brabant on 16 January, miK, an initiative of the province of Flemish Brabant and Voka Flemish Brabant, announced the new Climate Ambassador 2019. Leuven MindGate member Statik won with the title.
Statik is a digital web agency from Leuven with several years of experience on their portfolio. What connects their customers is the ambition to make a positive and sustainable impact on their environment. Together with their clients they always come up with a digital strategy and create experiences that enhance their impact, whether it's a simple website or a complex interplay of digital services and applications.
Statik makes various efforts in the field of climate, environment and sustainability. They choose only business implementations, projects and partnerships that have a positive impact. Organizationally, they have made multiple efforts to guarantee sustainability. Bottle water was replaced by a tap installation for cooled and sparkling tap water.
When recruiting, they look for local talent, so as not to contribute to the congestion problem. Employees are provided with an electric bicycle instead of the classic company car. Finally, Statik has a complete paperless office. These initiatives are also fully in line with the Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen (VCDO) that Statik subscribed to some time ago.
