Leuven MindGate member Eummena will join the Moodle Partner program in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) effective immediately. Eummena offers a wide range of Moodle services to organisations across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) region.

Moodle is the world’s open source learning platform that allows educators to create a private space online and easily build courses and activities with flexible software tools for collaborative online learning. Eummena is actively engaged in providing services to companies, public institutions and educational organisations since its establishment in 2011, to advance and exchange best practices in the fields of EdTech and digital transformation internationally with an emphasis on Europe and the MENA region. It has been at the forefront of innovation, knowledge transfer, research and development ever since.

Jad Najjar, co-founder and Managing Director at Eummena, said of the new partnership, “The Eummena team are on a quest to unlock human potential. Our newly formed partnership with Moodle will further enable us to reach our goals as we grow, building strong relationships across the region and expand on our capacity to deliver Moodle products and service delivery.” Tasos Koutoumanos, partner and Director of Technology at Eummena, continues, “After a long journey as Moodle advocates, contributions through technical discourse, integrations with other Free Open Source Software, and extensions for the support of open EdTech standards, we will now join forces with Moodle HQ, towards empowering educators for quality education for all”.

Eummena is an innovation and EdTech company strategically established in Leuven Innovation Center (I&I), Belgium. Leuven is repeatedly recognised as the most innovative region in Europe and one of the world’s prime regions for high-tech and creativity.

Eummena’s current services and reach will be extended with trusted Moodle solutions as they join Moodle as a Certified Partner this September. Upon doing so, they will be offering educators and researchers innovative services that improve the quality of education and training, targeting clients in the MENA region. Eummena’s services will further help organisations focus on bringing quality learning experiences to their stakeholders. These services include consulting, customisation of learning management systems, technical support, training, Moodle Educator Certification (MEC) and more. Eummena will be involved with the Moodle team who are building MoodleNet, the new open social media platform for educators, as an integral part of the Moodle ecosystem.

Juan Lucca, Chief Commercial Officer at Moodle stated “Moodle is delighted to welcome Eummena on board as a Certified Moodle Partner in the United Arab Emirates, a country that has seen significant growth in the EdTech sector.
