Twipe, a leading technology provider of digital publishing solutions for newspapers across Europe, announced this week that they have expanded into the US market. Their first American customer is Advance Local, who they have partnered with to distribute the digital version of their newspapers for 24 titles.
This month Twipe and Advance Local publicly released new apps on iOS, Android and web, making use of both Twipe’s classic Replica ePaper technology and the digital-first NextGen edition technology. The team at Advance Local is also leveraging Twipe’s EngageReaders ePaper analytics tool for deeper understanding of edition readers and using this data to make decisions on their print newspaper.
With 9 newspapers already live on the Twipe platform and further titles being rolled out in the upcoming weeks, more than 25.000 readers of publications like The Post Standard or The Oregonian have used the new digital newspapers in the past weeks. Readers appreciate particularly the improved reading experience and the interactive puzzles and games, while the editorial teams appreciate the analytics provided and the ease of use of the NextGen Edition Creation.
Leading publishers across Europe such as Le Monde, The Telegraph, and DuMont have trusted Twipe’s technology reliability and innovation capabilities for years. The partnership with Advance Local lays the foundation for Twipe’s expansion into the United States and further international growth.
“Working with the team at Advance Local has provided the perfect partner for our US expansion at Twipe. We are proud to be bringing our innovative technology to the US and look forward to continuing to innovate with Advance Local.”, said Danny Lein, CEO of Twipe.
