KU Leuven enters top 50 of most international universities in the world

KU Leuven rose from 66th place to 47th place in the Times Higher Education ranking of Most International Universities in the World.

Universities, by their nature, are global institutions. Typically, they are home to communities of students and scholars from all over the world, and they tackle some of the globe’s most pressing problems through research.

KU Leuven is seen as one of the world's most international universities, ranking #47 in the Times Higher Education ranking.

This list includes almost 1.400 universities across 92 countries. The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution's performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

The ranking of KU Leuven in figures: 45.049 FTE students, 36,3 students per staff, 15% international students and 50/50 female/male ratio.
