Leuven MindGate President Gilbert Declerck receives a Flemish Great Token of Honour
On July 11, the Flemish government will award 11 laureates with a Flemish Token of Honour. Five of them, among which our President Gilbert Declerck, will even receive a Great Token of Honour.
The Flemish Token of Honour is an honourful distinction given out since 2015 on the national holiday of the Flemish community. Those who receive it have shown extraordinary merit for Flanders or have used their exceptional talents to contribute to a positive image of Flanders, both nationally and internationally.
Other names who will receive a Token of Honour are Microbiologist Peter Piot, Judge Christiane Van Den Wyngaert, singer Will Ferdy, basketball player Ann Wauters and many others.
