EASI acquires stakes in Computer Telecom

The IT company EASI and the telecommunications player Computer Telecom have decided to join forces. EASI will now have a 50% stake in Computer Telecom's activities. This strategic and collaborative partnership will enable both companies to continue to develop their activities.

Participation as growth enabler

This participation promises to be favourable for Computer Telecom. The company based near La Louvière was looking for a larger structure to take its expansion to the next level. Already well established in Wallonia and Brussels, the company will now be able to rely on EASI to achieve its ambitions in Flanders.

Thomas Van Eeckhout, CEO of EASI, points out: "Developing and sustaining the economy by sharing experience is deeply rooted in EASI's DNA. We felt that we were perfectly in line with their expectations because we had the capacity to energize their structure and offer them total support in the development of their activities". Thomas Van Eeckhout adds: "We sincerely believe in their ambitions and we are convinced of their potential".

Boosting development

The CEO of Computer Telecom, Pietro Cuffaro, is delighted: "We are taking a big step forward with this partnership. EASI's business model has already proven itself several times. They have a great deal of organisational expertise and we are looking forward to boosting our future development with them".

Shared values

Despite a 50% stake in its activities, Computer Telecom will remain fully independent. "This is why it is important that we share common values," says Ludovic Lo Brutto, Executive Sales Manager & Partner at EASI. He adds: "Strategic support can only work when two partners share the same vision of the future. Our values are the driving force of our company and we believe that they have a particular impact on the successful evolution of companies. We quickly noticed that Computer Telecom had a similar opinion on this matter. This allows us to look to the future with serenity".

Third partnership this year

EASI is moving ahead with its ambitious projects. The company has already concluded a participation with Underside in February and announced the acquisition of ICT Architect in June. Ludovic Lo Brutto is optimistic: "This participation is the third deal we are completing in 2020. We are staying the course in our growth strategy. We can already announce that other similar projects will be carried out in the course of this year".
