Comate is the winner of the Provincial selection for SME of the Year for Flemish Brabant and Brussels. The Leuven-based mechatronical engineering and design company will now continue to the next round of the competition, where the national winner for SME of the Year will be chosen by public voting. The public vote runs until Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
Comate is a mechatronical engineering and design company, located in the center of Leuven. It connects engineering and design, by providing technical expertise and quality, with an eye for detail and design. Together with their clients, the diverse team of engineers and designers create novel products and machinery.
Sander Van den Dries, Director Comate Engineering & Design: “In my opinion, the title of the award can be changed, from SME of the Year to Team of the Year. It’s incredible to see the speed with which our team can reinvent themselves in a world where technology is moving so fast. It is unseen how these experts give their all, every day, to make that product a success. Putting a product on the market is difficult. Every day, we wake up thinking about how we can increase the chances at success for our clients.
