About this event

ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ wants to add a spark to the cold and dark days of winter. It can be through having interesting conversations that trigger collaborations, discovering new and innovative ideas in Leuven or by warming yourself up at the various fire pits and enjoying the atmosphere. ✨

At Winter Innovation Market (WIM!) startups and scaleups come together at maakleerplek to present their projects, visions or ideas. So grab yourself a freshly baked cookie, your favourite jenever or a hot gluhwein and start a conversation with some enthusiastic and innovative minds!

“How to network” workshop 💬

ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ’s main goal is to “bring people together for the better”. Networking is an important part of making connections, that’s why we provide a workshop to help you step up your networking-game! The workshop will last about 30 minutes, in groups of maximum 20 people. You can register beforehand for your preferred time slot, but if there are places left you can also walk-in on the day itself.

Would you like your own booth?

Startups and scaleups can also register to have their own booth and show what they’re made of to the grand public! This is the ideal conversation starter for any startup or scaleup. Be quick, because with registering first, second or third, you get an extra boost by being able to choose your booth first and your startup gets promoted on ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ’s social media before the event! 👀

Location

maakleerplek is a place where organisations, schools, artists and other residents of Leuven can come together to make, learn and work together. It wants to tackle the social, economical and cultural challenges of today and tomorrow. Thus the perfect location to host an event that’s all about innovative ideas! It is situated in the old industrial heart of Leuven, right at the Vaartkom. We hope to see you there!
