The Chinese way of appreciating a painting is often expressed by the Chinese words “du hua” “读画”, means “to read a painting”. Because the aim of Chinese painter: to capture not only the outer appearance of a subject but its inner essence as well as its energy, life force, spirit.
We are very happy to inform you that our Confucius Institute at GROUP T – Academy will organize a special Webinar on Chinese Painting on April 10, 2021. We are very honored to invite Master GAO Qingxiang to host this webinar. His presentation will draw a whole picture of Chinese painting with Classification of Chinese Painting, the Four Treasures of the Study, Four Arts Integration, Brushworks of Chinese Painting and Chinese Painting Appreciation.
