While talent is becoming more and more scarce in the professional world - because the demand is higher than the supply - the scope of talents that a successful employee should have is also changing.

Your organization needs to be ready for this change management, so reskilling and upskilling is a must to remain competitive.

Upskilling is the process of acquiring new and relevant competencies needed today and in the near future. Common examples of upskilling efforts include digital skills, analytics skills, and organizational transformation skills.
Then, what is reskilling? Unlike upskilling, which focuses on adding to an existing skill set within a role, reskilling refers to the process of learning new skills needed to do an entirely different job.

In this Leuven MindGate MashUp, we will explore which options organizations have to transform this challenge into an opportunity. Because whether you are a large, small or mid-sized company: you all face the same challenge. Your growth, maybe even your existence, is at risk when you cannot make sure that the right skills and competencies are in place within your organization.

Georges Vandenhove, Partner at People Exponential

A MashUp is a conversation, not a presentation.

However, every MashUp will have an expert in the room who initiates a discussion and answers your in-depth questions. There is plenty of time to share your own experiences and learn from others.

When: 30/03/2022, 09h-10h30

Where: I&I Leuven (Kapeldreef 60, 3000 Leuven)

Expert: Georges Vandenhove (Partner at People Exponential) will review used cases. Several aspects will be discussed such as the role of leadership, the role of the individual, the role of social partners if present, how to measure where you are, how to set a strategy, and most importantly how to operationalize the strategy in a pragmatic and realistic way: 'where the rubber hits the road'.

Unfortunately, cancellation is not possible. Replacement by a colleague is possible if notified in advance by e-mail (admin@leuvenmindgate.be)
