Where: Online zoom meeting
What: How to engage Generation Z in the professional world?
The attention span of a Gen Zer is just eight seconds—that’s four seconds less than their millennial counterparts. So first impressions really do count. You either grab their attention in that short space of time, or you’ll be forgotten forever.
As a professional, you’re probably familiar with the doomsday warnings about marketing to the upcoming generation, Generation Z, which includes anyone born after 1995: They don’t check their email, they have the attention span of a gnat, and they’re killing any business that isn’t online.
By 2021, Gen Z is expected to account for 40% of all customers. Even more astounding, one expert says “Generation Z is one of the most powerful consumer forces in the market today. Their buying power is $44 billion and expands to $600 billion when considering the influence they have on their parents’ spending.”
In this MashUp, we give you the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with other professionals. There is no expert in the room, who presents a presentation, but together with the other participants you will find new insights, based on each other’s experience. You can exchange ideas and solutions in an informal setting.
Unfortunately, cancellation is not possible. Replacement by a colleague is possible if notified in advance by e-mail (admin@leuvenmindgate.be)
