Nowadays, the question is, how is AI perceived by the larger audience? How is it accepted and understood by the users of solutions that embed AI components, may it be employees of a company or buyers of a product.

Evy Rombaut is a post-doctoral researcher at VUB and a member of the research centre MOBI – Mobility, Logistics and Automotive Technology. She has a background in mathematics and obtained a PhD in business engineering focused on quantitative models in manpower planning. She is working on EU research about the acceptance of autonomous vehicles in society.

For this meetup, Evy will be our guest. She'll present her research and what kind of criteria are used to assess acceptance of autonomous vehicles.

This will be followed up by a panel discussion with our guest speaker, Evy; machine learning engineer at dataroots, Marelli Virginie and co-founder of dataroots, Bart Smeets.

If you are interested in the topic, do not hesitate to send us some questions in advance!
