Twipe strengthens leadership position in French market with new Web App Touch

27 March 2017

French regional news publisher Centre France launches a new breed of apps on iOS, Android and the Web for the digital editions of its 19 newspapers. Centre France and Leuven-based Twipe have entered a long-term collaboration to distribute and monetize the digital newspapers.

Centre France is the first to roll out the new Web App Touch technology of Twipe across its 19 brands and 44 regions. Through this new customer acquisition, Twipe has established a leadership position in the French publishing market.

"Our new Web App Touch technology gives readers exactly the same touch and swipe experience as if they read their favourite publication within a native app. This partnership is an important step in our international growth,” Danny Lein, Founder & CEO of Twipe adds in a press release.

Twipe helps publishers to engage more readers and to monetize premium content on mobile devices. Also, magazine.live, one of their brands, develops the Leuven MindGate newsletters.
