Inspection R&D Engineer
As an senior Inspection Engineer, you will develop inspection on advanced processes, as well as evaluating novel type of inspection.
What you will do
You will be part of the Metrology and Inspection (M&I) group within the Ångstrom Patterning department.
As a senior inspection engineer, you will:
- Be part of a cross functional team aiming to support definition and execution of a joint development program for a leading M&I tool vendor.
- Be responsible for technical execution of the work defined in the joint development program in close collaboration with the tool vendor.
- Create and develop recipes on a state-of-the-art inspection tool on advanced processes.
- Work in close collaboration with a major material supplier to develop and assess multiple processes performance.
- Be creative and explore novel inspection techniques or methodologies.
- Investigate the limits of the techniques you work with through fundamental understanding by literature search, simulations, physical modeling etc...
- Report your work internally and externally (project reviews, workshops, conferences, or journal papers).

Who you are
- You have a PhD in Applied Sciences, Material Engineering or Electronics.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on advanced optical inspection tools and ebeam review systems (mandatory).
- You are proactive, positive, hands-on with willingness to learn.
- You have interest and experience in inspection in a high tech cleanroom.
- You are able to work in complex environments with various partners and customers.
- You are flexible and able to deal with change or ambiguity.
- You work accurately and have attention to details.
- You have excellent English communication skills.
- You have excellent presentation skills.
