Leuven MindGate aims to put the Leuven region on the map. One way how we do this is through participation in local and international projects which benefit the whole region.
In 2020, Leuven MindGate and VOKA Vlaams Brabant developed a vision text on the future of the Leuven region. This text describes which direction the Leuven region should take towards 2030 on various economic and social levels.
With 157 different nationalities, the Leuven MindGate region has a distinct international character. In order to better accommodate international knowledge workers, a one stop shop was needed. This one top shop will be an International House in Leuven.
The city's provision of services in welcoming and support, integration, the International School of Leuven, Leuven MindGate's headquarters and several language institutes will soon call International House Leuven their new home.
Since 2020, ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ and Leuven MindGate vzw have joined forces to gather the motivated and creative go-getters of Leuven. By combining community, content, celebration and co-creation, ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ wants to bring young professionals together.
Leuven MindGate focuses on deepening the relations between the health, creativity and high-tech professionals in and around Leuven. Both organizations want to use innovation as a lever to make a change in this ever faster developing world.
The partnership between ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ and Leuven MindGate strengthens both organizations in their daily business.
ᒪ ᐯ ᑎ will continue to act as an autonomous cell under the umbrella of the organisation “Leuven MindGate vzw” and is now supported by a skilled partner with a professional structure. Leuven MindGate will be able to connect young professionals and experienced entrepreneurs even better to put Leuven on the map as an innovative hub.

Leuven MindGate, the province of Flemish Brabant, DSP Valley, the RegMed Community and Flanders Investment & Trade started a collaboration to help Flemish Life Sciences companies close international partnerships.
Leuven MindGate will encourage SMO's active within Life Sciences to develop and implement a successful internationalization strategy by informing and raising the awareness of SMO's concerning business strategies in internationalization. Also juridical and regulatory aspects concerning international product launches will be addressed. Furthermore, the project's focus will aim for internationalization in the EMEA and US region.
