In our offices in Leuven, Belgium, we are searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer - Team Lead

Leica Geosystems is looking for a highly motivated, passionate and energetic individual to build up a new Reality Cloud Studio development team in Leuven, Belgium.

Tools & Technologies Used:

• JavaScript, Typescript, React, GraphQL

• 2D/3D rendering technologies

• Java, Spring Boot, Functional programming

• Micro-services architecture, with extensive use of Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with database systems SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQLite, DynamoDB, Elastic Search and Redis

• Cloud native development (AWS)

• Node.js

You are the person to look for when it comes to:

• Experience in leading and building successful engineering teams.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

• Helping the process to evolve ambiguous requirements to clear problem statement.

• Getting from a problem statement to a workable architecture and software design

• Problem solving and a strong analytical mindset.

• Experience with designing large and scale able React applications.

• Hands on experience with GraphQL APIs

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to take on a leadership position, assembling and guiding a new local team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of the team and contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

Interacting with the globally distributed larger team (Backend, DevOps, QA and Product Management) and ensuring best practices across the board is a big part of this role as we strongly support close collaboration, continuous learning and a solid DevOps mentality.
