Sales Contract Officer

The Sales Contract Officer manages the full business development contract review and negotiation process for template-based agreements and is the point of contact for a variety of internal questions in different subject areas.

What you will do

  • Support imec’s Business Development department in negotiating and reviewing template-based agreements from initiation till contract signature, including interacting with the clients. Examples are non-disclosure agreements as well as evaluation and license agreements.
  • Host the Business Operations Team meeting to streamline operations between business development, the legal counsels and the intellectual property specialists.
  • Manage quotations based on approved templates and pricing, and be the customer interface.
  • Keep the CRM sales automation system up to date, making sure the business cases you coordinate are well documented.
  • Act as first point of contact and interface for business development internal operational questions related to different subject areas such as finance, accounting, export or shipping.

Who you are

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in law, account/sales/business, or equivalent through experience.
  • You are interested in interpreting customer feedback in contracts and in coming up with a suitable response to come to a quick resolution.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and can switch between tasks without losing track.
  • You have good communication skills with excellent knowledge of English, and are keen to interact with customers.
  • You are not afraid to escalate when action is required.
  • You have the discipline to document your business cases and have a keen eye for detail.
  • You are a team player but are also able to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • You have experience with Microsoft office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Teams). Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sharepoint and OneDrive are considered a plus
