Industrial Engineer Load & Go

As Industrial Engineer Load & Go you fulfill a key role in our Smart Fab program to operationalize advances in equipment automation and CIM applications.

What you will do

  • As a member of our Fab Automation & Applications team, you will closely work with Product Owners and Business Analysts for the MES and related software to understand the systems’ capabilities.
  • You will follow Fab operations to understand and analyze their current way of working.
  • Your primary task will be to develop and implement the future operational procedures which utilize the automation capabilities currently being built. You will elaborate on the prerequisites for automated procedures and specify system requirements for CIM Product Owners.
  • You will focus on effective automation, simplification of manual work which currently takes too much time and is too dependent on special knowledge. “Load & Go” as the target level of automation refers to a degree of simplification that lot runs no longer require specific knowledge about the respective equipment – proper delivery will be sufficient, eventually by automated material handling.
  • Smart Fab is not only about simplification of manual work, it also will deliver more insight into capacity utilization. You will consider the improved equipment state model for definition of the future operational procedures.
  • You will contribute to trainings and can rely on the existing training function in Fab Operations.
  • You can expect exciting opportunities once the “Load & Go” project would have concluded after multiple years.
