What you will do

As Project Officer you are responsible for the complete Accounts Receivable (AR) for Funded contracts (projects with public contracts such as Vlaio, Interreg, European Space Agency (ESA) that have their own ground rules), meaning:

  • Financial follow-up of the Funded contracts.
  • Ensure the control and compliance of the bookkeeping obligations for Funded contracts and Funding Agencies.
  • Create all required financial reports for the Funding agencies (like financial statements, summary reports and distribution of the contribution).
  • Prepare the files for auditors.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Accountancy-Taxation and are passionate about bookkeeping.
  • You have relevant experience in accountancy (for instance as assistant bookkeeper, AR officer).
  • Motivated juniors with a first intern experience are equally considered.
  • Attention to detail is paramount and you work systematically.
  • You are communicative and always find ways to seek information. Your communication skills support you in creating and maintaining excellent relationships with internal (like colleagues) and external (like project leaders) stakeholders.
  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
