ICT Security Specialist – Data Loss Prevention
As dedicated ICT Security Specialist, you will lead the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and other security capabilities within imec.
What you will do
As an ICT Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, managing, and enhancing our data protection strategies. You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and preventing unauthorized access or disclosure of sensitive information, ensuring compliance with partner requirements, company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
DLP:
- Develop, implement, and manage DLP strategies and solutions to protect sensitive data.
- Lead the integration of DLP systems within imec security operations to detect and respond to (potential) security incidents identified by DLP systems.
- Configure and maintain DLP solutions to detect and prevent data breaches.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses related to data loss incidents.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure data security policies are enforced and DLP measures are integrated into existing systems and processes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in DLP.

Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a DLP specialist or in a similar information security role.
- In-depth knowledge of DLP technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with security standards (NIST, ISO, ...).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
