Fab Reporting Portfolio Manager

As a Fab Reporting Portfolio Manager, you provide the Fab teams with the data and reports they need to run the Pilot Lines effectively and efficiently.

What you will do

  • You manage and maintain the Fab data models, data products and report portfolio, growing it to meet the current and future needs of the Fab organization. The report portfolio contains strategic, tactical and operational reports and dashboards.
  • Your primary task will be to understand needs and business processes from the Fab related to operational data, and to coordinate building data products and reports that allow the different departments of the Fab to steer their operations.
  • To that end, you interact with many people throughout the Fab organization to understand what they are trying to accomplish, you suggest corresponding proposals for data and reporting projects.
  • You collaborate closely with the ICT department for the reporting and data projects that need their involvement.
  • You ensure ICT receives clear requirements and priorities in anticipation of the resource planning cycle.
  • You regularly align with other departments -mostly R&D- who use your data products, to ensure (self-service) reports and efforts are consolidated where appropriate.
  • You guide and coach analysts and data engineers in their activities related to Fab data & reporting.

Who you are

  • You have a master’s degree in engineering (e.g. in Electronics, Materials science or Chemistry) or Exact Sciences, or equal by experience.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience with data analysis, manipulation, and visualization.
  • You are well versed in the specific challenges and opportunities of modern BI, both technically and in terms of governance (e.g., self-service BI)
  • Good experience with general purpose programming (e.g., Python), in particular data engineering, is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience with relational databases, SQL or Power Query/Power BI is a strong asset.
  • You have prior experience in manufacturing or the process industry. You understand data objects like workpiece, process flow, measurement results and how these are connected. Prior experience in or knowledge of semiconductor processing is a strong asset.
  • You have strong (technical) communication skills. You are an engaged listener, able to detect the needs of your internal stakeholders.
  • You have a pro-active approach and initiate actions when needed. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive right into the action.
  • You can work autonomously, take initiative and are capable to plan and organize your own work.
  • Since you will be working in a highly international environment and will be maintaining a good contact with colleagues and co-workers from all over the world, fluency in English is essential.
