Electrical test Engineer for semiconductor memory devices

What you will do

By leveraging our world-class infrastructure and local and global ecosystem of partners across a multitude of industries, we create groundbreaking innovation in application domains such as healthcare, smart cities and mobility, logistics and manufacturing, energy, education, etc.
In the compute and memory department, our team is responsible for delivering standard and advanced electrical testing and reliability characterization of memory devices. We are actively researching a wide variety of memory devices, including Flash, 3D NAND, Ferroelectric memories (FeRAM, FeFET...), Resistive-based devices (ReRAM, SoM...), Oxide-Semiconductor-based devices, Liquid Memory devices. Beside of internal research programs, we are active in research-on-demand projects. These activities require extensive sets of measurements and data analysis. In this context, we are looking for a passionate electrical characterization engineer who will help strengthen this excellence.
You will:
- Perform electrical characterization tests, in cooperation with device experts
- Perform data crunching and analysis on the acquired measurements
- Discuss electrical results with our device experts and agree on next steps
- Prepare lot characterization reports and present them to our customers
- Contribute to the development of the pool of CMD setups, focused on memory test applications, by keeping up to date with the trends in the semiconductor industry and in the ecosystem of test equipment suppliers
- Actively look for opportunities to improve our operational processes.
- Assist device engineers to create standardized measurement procedures, automatic test protocols and automatic data analysis scripts

Who you are
- You obtained a bachelor’s or a master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent by relevant professional experience in electrical test and characterization.
- You are fluent in English
- You have good knowledge of electrical measurement techniques and hardware.
- Semiconductor device understanding is a must
- You have experience with lab instruments, semiconductor device test, and parametric test
- Programming knowledge in a scripting language and data analysis experience is required
- Experience on semiconductor memory device characterization is an important plus
- Problem solving skills are an important plus
- You are eager to learn new technologies, new techniques, new skills.
- You are a team player towards your internal and external partners, and you are motivated to evolve in a high-paced development context, you actively contribute to achieving common goals.
