28 January 2020

As a team leader in-Line Metrology Engineering you coach a team of process and hardware engineers responsible for in-line processes and tools which are used for wafer level characterization of processes and materials used in the area of CMORE (MEMS, actuators, sensors ...) and Core (Logic, Memory, Interconnect, 3D...).

What you will do

As Team Leader for in-LIne MEtrology (iLIME), with a strong technical background in the semiconductor metrology area, you are responsible for the day-to-day support in these techniques. Together with your team of process and hardware engineers, you setup and enable wafer level characterization of processes and materials used in the area of CMORE (MEMS, actuators, sensors ...) and Core (Logic, Memory, Interconnect, 3D...).

Your industry experience will help you to implement methodology in order to develop robust characterization. Efficient solutions for day-to-day problems regarding process stability and quality in our 200mm (focused on MTM high end specialty components) and 300mm (focused on advanced scaling) R&D Fabs are your first focus. Your practical experience in metrology techniques is crucial to manage goals, milestones, set the right priorities and ensure high quality processes for your team. You enjoy leading your team with solid knowledge, clear goals and up to date work planning. Being a communicative people manager, you motivate your team to reach challenging milestones. You ensure the daily collaboration with operations, hardware engineering, the process development teams as well as equipment suppliers run smoothly.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Securing tool stability by implementing and following up on the right process controls.
  • Follow up of the day-to-day issues linked to the processes in the metro area.
  • Follow up and coaching of the characterization setup supporting various process developments, programs and projects.
