The Research Unit Accountancy and Taxation of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies, campus Antwerp is looking for a doctoral researcher in the field of financial accounting and tax accounting.
The research project aims to investigate the association between non-auditservices and financial reporting quality. Potential research questions are the association between earnings management and non audit services, the impact of non auditservices on voluntary disclosures, corporate governance and the use of non audit services, and the impact of non audit services on the cost of finance,... The candidate has to present their research results at national and international workshops and conferences, and to publish in high quality journals. The candidate will also be involved in teaching activities (e.g. supervising master or bachelor theses, practicum sessions)
A full time employment for 1 years, extendable after a positive evaluation. The candidate will be employed at Campus Carolus Antwerp of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies of KU Leuven.
