Research focuses are: creative practices (e.g., graphic novel, dance studies, photogprahy) and cultural memory and identity (migration, heritage and digital cultural practices).

The research unit Literary and cultural studies consists of several larger interdisciplinary research teams and master programmes. The candidate will function within cultural studies. Research focuses are: creative practices (e.g., graphic novel, dance studies, photogprahy) and cultural memory and identity (migration, heritage and digital cultural practices).

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with research and teaching in cultural studies
  • Supervision of master theses
Profile

You have obtained a PhD in the Humanities with a special interest in one or more of the following research domains:

  • Popular culture and media representations
  • Cultural policy
  • Gender, postcolonial or disability studies
  • Qualitative and quantitative research methods


You are proficient in English (oral and written) and preferably also in Dutch

You have experience with teaching and supervision of students and enjoy working in a team.

You are prepared to apply for further research funding.

Offer

We offer a part-time position on postdoctoral level in a dynamic and diverse team, for three year, with possible extension to six years.
