We are happy to announce our upcoming symposium on Liquid Biopsies & Cancer, on August 28-30, 2017.
The symposium is organised by the Leuven Cancer Institute (LKI), in a joint effort of the KU Leuven and the University Hospitals Leuven.

Topics covered:

- Circulating tumour cells, nucleic acids, vesicles, lipids, metabolites...
- Moving into the clinic: applications of liquid biopsies in various oncological disciplines
- New approaches to liquid biopsies

With this symposium, we intend to gather all current and future users of liquid biopsies, and anyone with a clinical or basic scientific interest in this exciting and burgeoning field. The multidisciplinary audience will consist of oncologists, pathologists, clinical chemists, geneticists, organ specialists with an oncological focus… but also basic scientists and researchers from biotech and pharma industries.

The meeting offers opportunities for presenting posters, which can be selected for a brief talk during the plenary sessions. We invite all PhD students, postdocs and young investigators active in the broad field of liquid biopsies & cancer to register and to submit an abstract.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Leuven!
