What is the secret?
Managing Partner Thomas Van Eeckhout: “Shared values and great organisation. We notice that when we can combine our very organized way of doing business with the right people who share our values, growth is a logical consequence. In just three years our number of employees has doubled.”

Why did they participate?
Thomas: “With such growth figures, it is important that we remain relevant to our customers, our partners and our employees. This is only possible by continuing to question ourselves correctly. Many companies remain too long in a comfortable but unchangeable model. That is why improving our organization is a continuous process for us. Organization is the rule, but optimizing it is a game in which everyone actively participates. That is why we recruit on values, more than on technical skills. Respect, positive attitude, sense of responsibility and commitment to EASI are central to our progress.”

How do they do it?
Belgian minister of Justice Koen Geens: “If a company is named Best Managed Company and Best Employer 5 times in a row, there is something positive going on. I wanted to know what that key to success was. Visiting the company made it clear to me that at EASI there is enormous recognition from one person to the other. There is also a positive dynamic that pushes staff members forward. Not only on pure performance, but also on the qualities that benefit the group. That leads to a huge attraction for young people who find growth and future in this company. I am proud that Leuven can be a base for innovative IT companies.”
