Happy Volcano nominated for Ludicious Innovation in Game Award
Leuven-based game developer studio Happy Volcano has been nominated for the Innovation in Game Award by Ludicious, a networking and exchange platform for game developers. The Ludicious Awards will take place from January 18 to 21 in Zürich, Switzerland.
Out of 263 entries, a pre-selection jury selected 18 games for the Ludicious 2018 competitions, among them is The Almost Gone by Happy Volcano, a mystery point-and-click adventure where a young girl’s spirit looks for a way-out in a magical afterlife. It is a mysterious narrative exploration game set in a one second world where a little girl tries to understand her own dead and needs to fix the moment of death of others.
It features an exhibition, a developer conference, workshops, competitions, matchmaking and networking opportunities. The festival will show the most original games by young and upcoming studios and emerging game developers. The Ludicious Business section will once again connect experienced professionals with promising new projects and technologies.
