Delegation of Danish editors and broadcasters visits Leuven MindGate
Last Wednesday, our member Twipe hosted the Leuven leg of the Digital Innovation Tour 2018. About twenty Danish editors and broadcasters visited Twipe's office during their stopover in Leuven. The delegation was curious to hear more about digital media innovations in Belgium. Leuven MindGate was invited as well to give a presentation about the innovative character of the Leuven MindGate region.
Danny Lein, Founder and CEO at Twipe, gave an introduction on the future of media followed by the first set of Pecha Kucha sessions by Belgian start- or scale-ups. As a host, Twipe took the stage first, followed by Fan Arena and Tinkerlist. After this session, an intermezzo was given by Leuven MindGate where we gave an overview of the region and ecosystem's strengths. We were followed by imec.istart, recently named best accelerator in the EU, who gave the delegation a better insight in how imec.istart's track for start-ups has evolved. The second set of Pecha Kucha presentations featured EngageReaders, LucidWeb and Display.direct.
